North Country Healthcare (NCH) is seeking a compassionate Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate who is excited by the opportunity to help shape and expand oncology services within a growing rural healthcare system. Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and manage hematologic and oncologic conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive care
- Collaborate with infusion nursing, pharmacy, primary care, and specialty teams
- Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based oncology initiatives
- Provide compassionate education and support to patients and families
- Participate in oncology call rotation as assigned
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
- Active NP or PA license and DEA
- Oncology certification preferred (OCNP, AOCNP, or PA-C with oncology experience)
- Minimum 2 years oncology experience preferred
